Lotus Dome by Studio Roosegaarde
This living dome is created out of feather light aluminium flowers that fold and curl open in response to human interaction. When approaching the silver dome the petals begin opening and the dome becomes illuminated casting shadow patterns on surrounding surfaces. The more people interacting with the dome the more dynamic the mood becomes, even to the point of following and playing with people as they begin to walk around the room.
